Inktober Day 18 Sphinx… sneaking a book in the middle of the night. I don’t know how many times I did this and sometimes still do. #Inktober2016 #drawlloween2016

Inktober Day 17 Kraken, originally I drew up a squid-looking creature. It was too realistic… so I drew up this squishy guy. #inktober2016 #drawlloween2016

Inktober Day 11 Dryad

Inktober Day 11 Dryad… I tried to incorporate the idea of trees and leaves into a man. Most people see dryads as women, a connection to Mother Nature. I wanted to draw a majestic man, although ancient and wise, still vibrant. He commands attention from all of faerie. I used sepia ink sakura pens. #Inktober #drawlloween

Inktober Day 10, prompt was Demon. I took it a bit further with Water Demon. My son couldn’t see it, “It’s a mermaid, Mom!” Either way though I love how this turned out, just beautiful. #Inktober #drawlloween

Inktober Day 9 Doll

Inktober Day 9, Doll… broken dolls can be very creepy and interesting. There’s a story to be told. Who owned the doll, where are they now and why did they leave? I drew this one more minimalistic. I didn’t want to do too much. I used a ZIG Millennium 05 ink pen.

Continuing the challenge of #Inktober #drawlloween… I wasn’t sure about this one. The sketch was rough to say the least. It was surprising how well it came together in the end.

Posting from my phone this evening. We were hit hard by a storm earlier and have had no power.

This drawing for Inktober is prompted by “Goblin.” It was inspired by Froud, I have loved his work for quite some time. After drawing this is am tempted to write a back story to go with it. What do you think is happening or already happened?

Illustration Friday is Kiss… this drawing represents both Goblin and Kiss.

Stepping Back; Done, Maybe?

I put this weekend to good use, feeling industrious and productive. I am so excited, I think it might just be done. Of course that depends if my client agrees. What do you think?

Almost there…Fighting Hair

I really am almost there. I’ve been fighting him a bit, his mustache and hair are being stubborn. Now to just hunker down and get it done.

Just a Wild n’ Crazy Saturday

Well my day has been pretty exciting, really. I have gotten a lot finished today. Not close to finishing just yet though. Is it coming along? I think its starting to…
