Bully for Blue

October 1st is World Day of Bullying Prevention and A Crocheted Simplicity designed a blue hat as a part of the #HatNotHate campaign organized by Lion Brand Yarn in collaboration with Stomp Out Bullying.

I was one of the lucky testers for this pattern. It turned out great, and such an easy pattern to follow.

If you’d like to learn more about the campaign and find out how you can support the cause, you’ll find the info in the blog post link below. If you don’t want to read the post and don’t crochet, simply wear a blue hat on October 1st to help spread awareness!

Rough Edges

Sketch of Bellatrix 2018 by alecia goodman

“Contemplating Bellatrix” ©2018 alecia goodman to present

Sketching… never know where it might lead you. Can you tell who it is? It’s one of the most evil, deadliest creatures, but an interesting character. I bawled when she killed Padfoot.

“Becca”, portrait update 2 ©2016 alecia goodman to present

This drawing is so beautiful. I love the movement in her shirt and the wind blowing her hair around. Look at her hair, just gorgeous. I think she might just be done, hopefully I have been able to really capture her . Media pencil/lead with white charcoal
