Today is National Dog Day. I love sharing one of my portraits. This beautiful dog is Livvy and i had the privilege to draw her. I was able to finish and deliver it over the summer. Inktober Day 12 Roof, I struggled with this one a bit. Mainly because I love drawing architecture. I wanted to focus more on a piece rather than the whole. With a little research I found just about anything can be used on a weather vane including flying pigs, mermaids, dragons, horses, and dogs. Inktober Day 8 prompt is Teeth. The tooth fairy has been visiting our house a lot lately. So I almost went with the obvious, a mouth. I wanted to take it further. A zipper has teeth. Inktober so it begins. First prompt this year is fish. I’m a bit rusty as I’ve been so busy dealing with 2020 just like most everyone else. Hopefully the ideas and ink will start flowing. This girl was caught over the summer near my house. Always interesting to see how kids handle their very first fishing excursion. It’s almost here. The time of year where it gets cooler and many artists are gearing up. All of us hoping our ink lasts and our ideas continue flowing.
