Inktober Day 25 Mummy… I didn’t like the idea of drawing a traditional mummy or corpse for this drawing. I wanted this girl to be pretty, but rough and maybe a bit scared. I really enjoyed the shadow and texture of the cloth strips. The limited use of color provides a good contrast and possibly a depth of personality. #Inktober2016 #drawlloween2016

Inktober Day 16 Hag…finished this beauty right before midnight, cutting it close. Yes, the apple helps connect with the fairy tale, Snow White… the evil queen’s deadly weapon. Here’s the funny part, I’m not sure she is truly a hag (if hags are meant to be evil). What is the definition of a hag, “a witch, ugly old woman.” More so the Little old lady. She actually reminds me of my big mama, great grandmother She was a gardener if I’m remembering stories right. I might have to give this one another try.
