Inktober 2019

Somehow I survived Inktober,  though a couple of pens and kneaded erasers didn’t make it.  Finished all 31 days, only had to go about a week into November. A concept and drawing a day is hard to keep  up. Well now that its done, which drawing was your absolute favorite and why? Please comment  with your favorite. Remember all drawings and prints of drawings are for sale,  just contact me for more information. #Inktober #Inktober2018 #wrap #ink #drawings #art

Walking “Fido”

Ink drawing of a girl and dragon by Alecia Goodman

There’s two possible stories to go with this one. Maybe this innocent and naive girl took her dog for a walk. She is too busy daydreaming to realize her dog has been eaten and she’s leading a dragon. I think I like the second story best. What if she has her very own pet dragon and takes her precious Fido on walks. Think of all their amazing adventures and how tricky it would be to take care of such a giant beastie. Which story direction do you like better? #Inktober #Inktober2019 #dragon #fido #walk #InktoberDay12 #ink #drawing

Thank goodness I finished. I think it turned out pretty well and my son loves it. I tried to combine Eragon by Christopher Paolini, Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling and even anime for this one. What do you think?

Time is short for this project I’m doing for my son. Its going to be a motivational poster for his testing coming up. I’m curious if the style reminds you of anything?

Marshmallow?

You either like them or you don’t. This cute guy is trying so hard for the perfect roasted marshmallow. He really just wants that warm ooey gooey-ness. Most people struggle with this same quest… but they don’t have a personal internal combustion system. Its still not easy, but so worth it in the end.

Wanted to see what she would like in color. I may have to pick up some new Sakura Microns, my black 20s are running a bit dry. It’s making this such a slow process. Though I’m liking the idea, but the paper is not cooperating with my markers. Hmmm… should I keep going?

Inktober Day 14 Fierce… what a busy weekend, hoping to get caught up today. I love drawing dragons, but tried a different feel to this guy. What do you think of when you think “fierce “?#Inktober2017 #drawlloween2017

Inktober Day 31 Dragon, my final drawing for this October is actually a baby dragon. My son is going to love this one. He’s been wanting me to draw a dragon badly. Happy Halloween! #inktober2016 #drawlloween2016

Inktober Day 27 Amulet

Inktober Day 27 Amulet… I thought about how to represent a dragon tear as an amulet. The metal comes across sinuous and the jewels themselves, through pointilism come alive. #inktober2016 #drawlloween2016
