Somehow I survived Inktober, though a couple of pens and kneaded erasers didn’t make it. Finished all 31 days, only had to go about a week into November. Have you ever heard of Perseus and Andromeda’s story? Basically he has to go on a quest, battle beasts, and rescue the damsel or the princess from being sacrificed to the Kraken. I wanted to approach this one as illustrating a strong, brave and defiant heroine. So what if instead of the usual damsel in distress Andromeda was really the huntress? Yes, she may be manacled, but it may just be an illusion. The heroine is using herself as bait and taking the Kraken head on. I personally would want to have her defiant character and bravery while confronting a monster. Could you say the same for yourself? #Inktober #Inktober2019 #bait
