My Precious

Inktober Day 9 Precious, nothing can be more precious to a child than a lovey/stuffed animal. If they ever lose it or another child takes it… you’ll definitely know, especially if you’re their mom or dad. #InktoberDay9 #Precious #Drawing #Art #Panda #Girl

I was so surprised to come up with this Inktober ink drawing, really love it. The little girl makes me smile, her pure joy is plastered on her face… makes me think of my big sister. Her feathery friends are one of the many things that she loves. What brings you pure joy?

I recently tested this pattern from Crafty Ridge, River Beanie. It works up really quickly. My son immediately decided it was a keeper and wouldn’t give it back. I used I Love This Yarn from Hobby Lobby. Its a beautiful pattern and I was honored that my name suggestion was chosen. There is also a sale on this pattern for a limited time.

Jumping In Head First, #2 CAL

For the second CAL, or Crochet-A-Long I actually made 3 items… 2 of the Little Textures Beanies (using Simply Soft and a special clearance yarn I found at Hobby Lobby), and the Bonnie Bell Cowl (using Aurora Borealis yarn), patterns by Two Brothers Blankets. Again I played with color and texture. I loved how my son’s blue hat turned out, the blues really make his blue eyes vibrant. I was worried about the red not being my color, but the pictures were awesome. It was a whirl wind of trying to get it all done in a small amount of time, but they worked up quickly.
