So close. Cole is almost finished. Thank goodness, I worry this one has taken longer than it should. Partly because of the detail and also because of my shortage of time with a new baby. Hopefully I can finish this weekend. Now for the big question, does it need some information of the background? If yes than I am thinking a dulled brown or gray to bring in the arm of the chair that would help place Cole. What do you think?
So Close, Background Yes or No?

Yes. Not a full background but the arm of the chair definitely needs to be there. Looking very good.
Thank you, I will be putting in some of the chair (thinking a muted color) to help place the dog.
A). What does the client want?
B). Perhaps the cushion under his head, since his cheek is being pushed up?
Rendering in some of the background muted. Thanks Anne.
He looks wonderful! Definitely needs something under his head. The pic is the chair, which is cranberry, but that color would detract from him, so I agree a muted tone would work. Could we maybe keep the faint swirl pattern in the chair fabric? Faint and muted. I can send a pic of it if that helps. If that won’t work then that’s fine. I trust your judgement! He looks fabulous!! I’m amazed how well you’ve captured the way the light hits him and all the nuances of his shading. Thank you!!
Remarkable!
Thank you Naomi.
