Ink drawing curvy woman at beach by Alecia Goodman

For this one I looked at plus sized models and pin ups like Hilda by Duane Bryers. I wanted to show that as women we are all beautiful no matter our size. We don’t  come in the same sized package, much like all of our personalities and experiences are all different.  Women battle their curves when I think more often than not we need to love our bodies and be more accepting. I am no different, growing up with the mindset of being big boned. I may be curvy,  but I’m comfortable in my skin. I’m not fat and hope the world sees my strength and my beauty. #Inktober #Inktober2019 #husky #art #ink #drawing

Whale of a Tail

2018 Inktober Day 12 Whale ink drawing by alecia goodman

Inktober Day 12 Whale… finished right before midnight, but I couldn’t post…fell asleep. I approached this illustration with pointillism, where everything is done with dots. I love how it turned out and may have to revisit this style again. What do you think of the shading? #InktoberDay12 #Whale #Inktober #ocean #mammal #pointillism

Inktober Day 29 Sea Witch… I wanted to do something different and combine two prompts to come up with my own. A witch and a illithid, I drew this beauty. #inktober2016 #drawlloween2016

Wrapped in Warmth

Painted Belle Epoque Chanel ©2015 alecia goodman to present pattern by Sweet Potato Crochet Creations, http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/painted-belle-epoque-chanel

I recently did a test for Sweet Potato Crochet Creations for the Battle of the Stitches. It involved the paintbrush stitch and the theme wrapped in warmth. Its a beautiful stitch, but it’s a yarn eater. I did some frogging before I figured out the stitch itself. After that it went together beautifully. This was my first ever sweater, cardi, etc. I was a bit nervous. What do you think? I think my next one will be done in a solid color like plum.
