Inktober Day 12 Roof, I struggled with this one a bit. Mainly because I love drawing architecture. I wanted to focus more on a piece rather than the whole. I went back to my graphic design roots for this one and touched upon non-allergy animals with this one. Naked cats aren’t for everyone and feel very different from the fluff balls I grew up with. We recently discovered that cats are one of the many allergies affecting my daughter. It’s been a sour subject to be sure. Yes, I’m way behind…but plan on getting it done. This past month has been hard emotionally and super busy. I’m hoping things slow down and my heart can rest and recover from losing a friend. It hit me hard and dealing with other pressures it hit close to home. A lot of people are dealing with mental issues right now. Before anything else remember to be kind. You don’t want to hold on to the pressure of what ifs.
Sometimes I draw friends with their permission of course. I wish it looked a little closer to my friend. I didn’t want to do too much though and mess it up. Thankfully my kids recognized him. He might look a little scary, but he’s really just a teddy bear at heart. Still probably a good idea to stay on his good side. I’m behind, but working to catch up. Its not always easy to find the time. So don’t be surprised if I post more than one a day. My son told me that this doesn’t really represent “knot.” If you know how to braid I think it definitely does. I once taught myself to French braid my hair by sitting in front of the mirror while my family was driving to Colorado. Later I figured out how to braid a dear friend’s hair before her surgery.
