Recently we moved house… not something I recommend for the faint of heart. I love our new house and I also have my very own room for my studio with a view. Its wonderful. Right before the move I was commissioned for a challenging project. 2 dogs on a 8 x 10, black and white charcoal. It was tricky as the original photograph was low resolution. The portrait was a surprise so I have had to keep this one on the down low until it was revealed. It turned out amazing and I am so thrilled that my customers loved it especially since it was for someone I have known all my life. I will work on posting from beginning to finish so that you can see the process. What do you think of Sugar Babe and Bentley?

A very awesome portrait Alecia! Especially at such a small size. Very nice details.
Thank you so much. I was nervous at putting too fur babies together on an 8 x 10. Though it turned out beautiful and it didn’t a long time since most little projects do.
Gorgeous, Alecia!
Thank you Susan.
This is beautiful, Alecia. You have captured them so realistically.
Thank you Elaine.
