Day 6 Folklore, my sixth ink drawing for October. Black Cats and full moons have always been associated with folklore and myth, especially bad luck and/or strange things happening. #inktober2017 #drawlloween2017 #octobersketch

Day 4 Inktober, Biker Witch…a little late. I grew up around motorcycles so of course I gravitated towards this topic. She’s a badass, sexy and beautiful. #inktober2017 #drawlloween2017 #octobersketch2017

Inktober Day 3, Poison… beware of mushrooms and perfect apples! I was trying to think of different ways to show poison, other than bottles and hypodermic needles. I like the idea of the mushroom being an angry character, just not sure on the eyebrows. What do you think? I’ll be doing another drawing of real mushrooms, because I really liked the look. #inktober2017 #drawlloween2017

Day 2 Inktober Creepy Trick or Treaters, my second ink drawing for October. Sometimes the cutest creatures can be the creepiest. Think of a smile that feels too good to be true. Possibly why clowns bother some people so much. #inktober2017 #drawlloween2017 #octobersketch

Inktober Day 1 Swift, my first ink drawing for October. One of the fastest or swiftest ways to travel, by broom. I’m in love with the hat. I may revisit this one later as the hands were not to my liking. #inktober2017 #drawlloween2017

Slow and Steady…

Once I got moving on this Lil guy it went fast, definitely started out a little slow though. Now to sign and take pictures while he’s still hanging around.

What could go wrong? Just a mermaid zombie giving you the eye. Thinking about adding her a friend too.

Turtle Power, Moving House

I really like this sketch. My kids and I were brainstorming stories. This is rough, an idea: “A turtle lost while exploring, finds itself stumbling through a dark, secret tunnel that leads to the Witches planet. The tunnel connects two worlds. Magic is heavy in the air and the turtle starts to change once it emerges into the light. Scared it tries to hide in a carved out hole, burying itself under a craggy hill covered in fog. Suddenly there is an explosion and the turtle is huge. What is left of the hill and the witch’s house are perched atop the turtle’s shell.” What do you think, continue to work on this one?

Monsters, teeth, who knew?

My 2 little monsters can make a pretty big mess with just about anything. The bathroom though I think gets the brunt of it. I always find toothpaste all over, which explains why it’s run out of quickly. Trying to find the humor in it I came up with this Toothy Monster. Cute, odd, you decide…
